What do you think first when you hear the word "Madagascar"? Cheerful and funny cartoon with characters that have impressed every child on the planet, magic island with exotic animals, that is washed by velvet sea.

Millions of tourists go for the idea to visit this place every year for another reason.  Because here you can become a member of an incredible adventure and get involved into another and unknown world - the Stone Forest.

This is not just forest, it is natural reserve Tsingy de Bemaraha, (Tsingy de Bemaraha which is under patronage of UNESCO since 1990). It consists of a vast stone plateau from which extends stone spires into the sky; sometimes it can reach a height of 50 meters. That is why this place is very popular not only among ordinary tourists but also climbers. You will not be able to find such place anywhere in the world and enjoy the variety and grandeur of nature, and will not find the endangered breed of white lemurs.

In the forest, there are a couple of viewing platforms that allow to enjoy the view from the top, as well as the gorge, through which flows a mountain river. There are built a lot of suspension bridges in the forest, but these bridges are not for the prissy.
